SVITAP is a Czech company with a long tradition in the textile industry and is one of the leading manufacturers of technical textiles in the Czech Republic.
At our headquarters in Svitavy we produce reinforced woven foils, double and triple layer textile laminates and process regranulate from recycled plastic bottles to make PET Strapping Tapes.
We manufacture products from technical fabrics, textiles, and coated textiles using sewing and welding techniques at our plant in Lomnice nad Popelkou.
In Chropyně, we produce coating fabrics – synthetic leather and leatherette, which are used for a wide range of purposes.
We have been manufacturing tents and shelters for several decades and use the latest production technologies. We offer a large selection of models, types, sizes and variants of mobile and permanent roofing. We use a wide range of materials in different colours and weights for our tents, from polyethylene laminated fabrics to cotton fabrics or cotton fabrics mixed with PES to special PES fabrics coated with PVC.
In our plant in Svitavy we produce textile laminates (two or three layers), which, owing to the unique technology used to apply the adhesive, boast some unique properties such as high-water resistance, excellent vapour permeability and 100% wind resistance. Textile laminates are used in a number of industries, such as in the production of sports and outdoor wear, work clothing and fashion, but also in various technical applications (e.g. in healthcare, automotive, etc.).
